A/C module issues
I recently bought this car about a month ago and everything's pretty much perfect with the exception of the bumper's paint chipping off in corners, more inclined towards the front of the bumper and not underneath it and the fact that the **** that connects to the "Inside air ( where you turn on for MAX A/C /outside air" keeps inhinging from behind, every time I twist the **** theres a 20% that the wire/backing to it pops off.
I can't really describe it as well as I'm hoping to but hopefully y'all kinda understand what I'm referring to.
What I'm asking about is if anyone's encountered this particular obstacle, and hope I would go about reattaching it more permanently? In order to reattach the wire and hinge in from behind the **** I unplug the battery, take off the center piece ( that surrounds the radio ), remove the radio and reattach it (a bit blindy I might add, but I figured out how to. When I reattach the hinge, the A/C allows me to switch from circulating the inside air and outside air, but as I use it, the **** gets more difficult to turn and then the back just sorta pops off. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Pictures of what I'm talking about..

(its the center **** below the Headunit, between the other two)
(originally in this thread, a DIY dash removal from a previous thread on ScionLife)

Any help would be greatly appreciated, much thanks.
(PS. I hope no one minds but I also posted this on Scikotics to see if I could get a faster response, my intentions are not to flood the servers with useless threads)

Easy Fix... here it goes (assuming your car is still under warranty)
1. Get in car and drive to dealer.
2. Get out of car and go to desk person at the shop.
3. Tell them to fix your piece of ____ thingy.
4. Watch them scratch their head, *****, and chin hairs while trying to figure out what the problem is.
5. Laugh, get ____ed, and tell them 20 times what the problem is.
6. Demand a loner car and tell them to kiss your ___ until it's fixed.
7. Leave and come back four months later when it's fixed.
That's all there is to it!

hopefully my pm helps. also, you can just grab the enviromental panel by the sides and pop it off. its on there firmly, but will come off to access the backs of the control ***** without having to remove anything else, like the waterfall or the radio. just make sure you line the tabs up right when you reinstall it. good luck.
