I just added a cabin filter to my 08 XD, this is the first one as the car did not come with one. When I unsnapped the telescopic holder thingy on the right side of the glove box, not only did the glove box come off but the telescopic arm also came completely off. I can not see where the upper connection goes, the lower connection is on the glove box. Can someone describe to me where it connects? I've looked and looked, all I see up there is air.

Well, it was right there in front of me, it took my big lantern flashlight and I finally got it. It connects the exactly same way as the connector on the glove box, there are two places on the body of the telescoping piece that can snap into place, I used the one at the very top and snapped it all back together.
