Default Installed Sirius - now AUX input not working

I had Sirius plug and play installed by Best Buy - the power comes from the cigarette lighter. However, the AUX INPUT does not work - will not recognize any devices, MP3, DVD...
Tried a new cable - no luck. Best Buy says the satellite radio was installed properly and it was a problem with the orginal radio. Toyota replaced the radio (under warranty) and the AUX input still does not work. Nothing happens if you push the AUX button. Went back to Best Buy - they said they have connected everything right.
There is a statement in the radio manual that says if you install something that is not a Scion/Toyota radio, then the AUX will not work - could that be possible?
Any thoughts?

What year do you have?

Sorry for not giving the specifics.
xD - 2008. The AUX port is right above the front cupholders - in front of the gear shift.
