a few options here:

1. you didn't securely reconnect the center panel cable to wiring harness
2. you connected the wiring to the stereo not the center panel. Doing this even quickly leads to...
3. blew a fuse. check the dome light fuse under the hood. Do the map lights and dome lights work? if yes, it is probably 1 or 2

Yes that map lights work
I'll have to check fuses and see if it's the right harness plugged in

Thanks for getting back to me so fast

I'll let u know if I get it to work tomorrow I have to sleep before work tonight

It is my understanding that there are several fuses involved with interior lighting and stereo. There is the dome light one in the engine compartment and at least one or two 'ACC' ones in the fusebox above the drivers left foot.

yeah it sounds to me like you didnt reconnect the clock/hazard lights. its easy to do, just pull the cover back off to make sure it is connected.

I would pull the fuses and check them first. it will be easier.

pull the one in the engine bay first then then the 2 in the cabin.

did you accidentally switch the clock harness and radio harness? They are the same plug and I sure did that the first time I messed with my radio.

Sounds like an excellent opportunity to mark the connectors (I usually mark 'em as I take 'em off).
