the texture and color of the armrest looks different than the OEM parts huh? I mean maybe the flash on the camera exaggerates it, but it doesn't seem to match very well?

There is a difference in the teture and color, but once it's in the car, everything looks good. Goddes, what do you say?

I notice the bottom area is a little darker but the armrest looks closer. I think it looks fine, you can't make everyone happy.

The texture is different, yes. Color, yes...the xD center assembly is more grey, the Zeta armrest more black. BUT, you have to look at it from an aesthetics point of view...the point of focus where the eyes actually meet the armrest is not the same point of focus as the pictures. People aren't normally going to enter your car from the ground level of your vehicle and compare plastic to plastic. Where the eye naturally meets the armrest, you're at the top of the armrest where the armrest is black and the seats are black. It's a smooth, appealing transition and looks OEM. It also functions VERY well and the added storage is a big plus.

I'm very happy with it.

Thats a good explanation, its more of a personal thing, I totally understand your guys thought and thats awesome. Just for me i dunno for some reason I'll always notice it and i think it will bug the heck out of me. Is it way harder to match the OEM layout? Just curious really. No attacks on your product or anything. I'm sure it is way better than that other crap on ebay.

Why care what color it is? You will be driving the car more than staring up at the console from the floor lol. If it bugs you that much paint the plastic something more similar

When I get the monies I will for sure get this as well

Some people care about little tacky things like that. Its not staring at the floor and looking how it doesn't match, its know in your head that it doesn't match. Who said it wasn't a great product? Thats like asking someone Why have a silver car? its people's preferences.

Very nice, ordering mine now! I spent quite a bit of time with my friend in Japan trying to figure out how to get the IST armrest over and this is just a lot easier and it looks good!

Well, It looks great! It was very easy to install. We didn't get to drive with it in place. I can't wait to go on a drive and test it.
Anyone took a trip with it yet?
BTW>>>what is the bolt and nut for?
