I guess this thread officially failed to accomplish anything.

As I said before, money talks and letter writers are useless.

If you share in my grief, please start writing up e-mails to the aftermarket companies to start sharing some of the love for us dedicated Toyota/Scion drivers that want more then stock performance out of our cars. These are some companies that I feel we should alert this to:
Non Stop Tuning (NST)
Ingalls
Clutchmaster
Energy Suspensions
Exedy
Beatrush
Apex'i
TRD
Turbo Toyotas
Fidanza
Greddy
as well as any others you can think of (please respond with the company in mind so others can also request parts support)

I have already posted this in other forums that have other 2ZR-FE owners like the Matrix and Corolla to help out. But I have another project for us xD owners.

We also need to start hitting up these body part companies like AIT, Seibon, etc for some support to. I know one of our users has the developed AIT kit on his car but its no where to be found on their site and I've gotten no responses from them. Meanwhile the xB2 is getting oodles of support from them.

I hope this all works out. Please forward this to any other forums you feel can help out!

Nope, I just don't care anymore to update or work on this anymore.

Not worth my effort with people like you trying to drag everything down for no real reason other then make you feel good about yourself.

Go drive into a wall.

Japan you can only really depend on body kits, its basically an automatic only car over there so no reputable shops are going to put their time into it. A lot of companies also favor the 1NZ over the 2ZR also. And you cant really depend on euro land with the yaris t sport since everytihng is high dollar / restrictive as far as aftermarket parts go.
xDs potential lies in american companies but in the eyes of most americans, potential comes from auto sales for that model

You gotta remember the 2ZR is a new engine, one of the first with dual vvti, so of course some RnD needs to be done.

Rumion uses the 1.8 as well as the New Ist. It uses both the 1NZ and some version of the 2ZR. not sure about the comment about Auto's only. you know how many cars people drive there that are auto' transmissions? I just saw a feture on one of Orido's Aristo builds. guess what, Auto transmission and sick power. don;t think that could be a factor.

Any idea on brake pads? I've started looking them up, and I've seen EBC, NPN, Akebono and Piso offered for the xD's. Not sure other makers, but EBC is good apparently but on the pricey side. Akebono is good too I hear.

Just wondering
