Alarm/console Problem
A few weeks ago, my dealer @ Headquarter Toyota installed an alarm on my vehicle, located near the center cupholder in the four little "switch assemblies". The alarm works fine and perfectly, however, my shifter (it's an automatic) does not light on. It lights only when I give it a good ol' hit, meaning that there is a bad contact. I went in today and these people made me look like an effin' #$$%^&&, saying that they didn't have to take out the assembly, but of course they did and the technician failed to properly install it back. They even had the guts to place a bet of $78 so that the technician could check it, even though it's their fault and they know it. If anybody here can help me out, I'll appreciate it. Calss will be made to scion, toyota, my local bbb and their service manager. I will attach pictures as soon as possible.
