Default Button question from new xd owner

Hi - I recently bought a used 2010 xd. Previously had a Matrix for almost 10 years without a problem. Anyway.... there are 2 buttons on the floor between the front seats - can anyone tell me what they're for? Thanks.

on the floor? or the center console next to the parking brake?

One of them should be for traction/stability control, there should be icons on the buttons?
Traction button has the back of a car with some wavy lines out the back from the wheels and the word "off".

i guess it didn't have the owners manual?

Thank you - yes, on the console near the parking brake. Any idea what the 2nd button is for. I thought maybe moving the passenger seat, but nothing seemed to happen when I pushed it. (cars are not my strong suit)

does it have an icon or anything labeled?
a picture would help. it might be a button for interior ambient lighting, it would be in the front foot wells and cup holders just in front of the shifter.

it literally could be anything the previous owner decided to wire up and it may or may not even be on the car now.

No - it's towards the rear of the shifter (towards the back seat), between the two front seats. There is some sort of graphic on it - I'll try to get a photo tomorrow.
Thanks for your help.

I was talking about the button being there, in one of the 4 button spots the xD has next to the parking brake, i was describing where the actual LED lighting would be if that is what it is for.

They're blanks.

if it was the blank, it obviously wouldn't look like or function like a button or switch.
Also the OP would think there were more than just 2, since there are 4 spaces there.

I mean, they are meant to functional at some point, and to have the ability to tap into if needed for something aftermarket.
