The car is the same............no changes. But, there's a $100.00 price increase and an increased destination charge.

The destination charge was altered for 2008 and 2009 models on July 14th from $620 to $670

The MSRP (w/o destination charge) of the 2008 was $14,550 (base manual) and the 2009 is $14, 650 (base manual)

That means, an 08 versus 09 today has only a $100 difference.

It'll be worth more later. I bought an 08 2 weeks ago, though, so you shouldn't ask me.

I ended up waiting the same amount of time for the 09 that I would of waited for the 08. If they have an 08 on site, then go for it. They only had a white one on the lot and I didn't want that. I don't think they are getting anymore 08's in at all. So if the dealer doesn't have any, then you are getting an 09 when you order it.

So what's the difference except the price? It doesn't make any sense... why pay more if there's no diffirences...

it's only $100. The increase in price was to cover the shipping charges because gas and everything has gotten so expensive. With the 09 the resale value will be better. If you can find an 08 on the lot than go ahead and get it if you don't care. But if you have to order one from the dealership, then you are getting an 09. You don't have a choice at this point. Lots of dealerships around me only had a couple if any on the lot. You would have to settle for that color and with all the dealership changes they made and pay for them.
