Default Hard to find? Trying to find an xD for a local test drive

I'm in the market and very much would like to get one.
But it's not set in stone until I test drive one.
It's been hard to find one locally though.
I don't really feel like ordering one, before I actually test drive it.

Been to two local dealerships, one didn't have any, the other had 2 RS1 xD.
Hansel Toyota salesman was awful, gave us the whole exercise by patrolling the dealership lot to find one, and stalling our time, and in the end, tried to sell us a used Aveo!!! FreemanToyota sales person was very friendly and courteous. Too bad he only had those 2 RS1s.

Is there any Internet sales manager for Norcal area on this Forum?
Would appreciate a PM or email.

Any tips on finding one? Maybe time-frame wise, end of the month maybe? During labor day week-end?

What have been your experience?

Thx

Are you planning on putting TRD springs on your regular XD if so the ride on the RS1 would be the same. The RS1 is the same car just take it out for a spin. The TRD springs lower the car by 11/2" and make the ride a little stiffer, other wise the motor and drive are the same.

This is going to be my DD car, so I'd like it as stock as possible

I'll give that nice dude from Freeman Toyota a call to check in on his inventory.

Any other recommendation/comments/experiences for Toyota dealers up here in Norcal? This is around Sonoma, Marin, etc.

Cheers

Most dealerships keep their local inventories up to date online. That's how I found one to test drive where I'm at... also check cars.com - scan for listings that are "newly listed"
