Default LIST OF QUESTIONS FROM NEWBIE XD OWNER

Hello everyone

Just picked up my new XD yesterday and I have a few questions?

1. Does anyone have a picture of how the cargo liners lay out? I didn't opt to get one but am now thinking I may need one since I have 3 golden retievers that like to ride. Or does anyone have suggestions of who might sell a rubber mat formed for the back w/ the back seats in the folded position?

2. Where can I get a car cover for the XD? I do not have a garage and I want to protect it from the elements?

3. What is the best way to remove the dealership logo on the back?

I would have included a pic of my new XD but I havent figured out how to yet as i am new to doing forums also.

use a fishline and a blowdryer to get the dealership logo off
you can add some soap water on it to help it come off easier

Heat gun for the Dealer logo is it is vinyl. try TRD Sparks for the cargo cover and cargo liner. They have a very informative site.

Be careful with car covers -- your car will have dust and dirt on it, and car covers can eventually start to scratch this stuff into the paint. A good quality wax may be your best method of protection.

You can also remove the dealer decals with a plastic razor blade, some goo gone and a bit of wax when you're done ...

Ehh, even though it's plastic you're still likely to scratch your paint that way. Really heating up the adhesive and doing the fish line thing it the best way
