Read it again. The block was replaced under warranty. That means it failed.

That may also mean they didn't know the exact problem or it was cheaper/easier to replace the whole thing. I would hardly call this "total engine failure".

Ok, how about "Unknown engine failure which resulted in engine block replacement"

Happy now?

theres no evidence it was engine failure and the author doesnt mention anything other then an oil leak, it could have been just as easy as a mechanics error during repair that destroyed the engine.

OMFG what are we going to do, quick trade in your POS xD's before they start throwing rods out the side of the block.

LOL. @ Hobojon . and Yawn..
Your attempts to discredit this car are humorous at best.
"Total engine failure" what a sensational headline !!
Yet you don't know any of the facts that caused the problem or why
they chose to replace the block.. but hey.. why let a few facts get in the way of your trolling.

And thanks for also being the first to bring the Euro crash test headline to us.. I'm sure we will all drive more carefully now that we have this information.

Useless thread is useless.

If you want to troll, do it somewhere else.

I've seen a few other people mention the truly negative connotation to almost all of your posts, and I see it to. If that's ALL you have to share, is how much you dislike this vehicle, take it somewhere else. No, seriously, take it somewhere else or just stop posting.
