Default Scionpartspeople.com - Anyone used them?

Hi,
Has anyone used scionpartspeople.com?
They seem to have excellent prices at almost dealer cost and reasonable shipping charges.
Before ordering anything, it would be good to hear if anyone has any experience with them good or bad.

Thanks

Yes. Good prices and fairly prompt shipping but don't expect fast replies to emails. Site is run by web company that facilitates orders. Actual supplier and shipper is Toyota of Puyallup (Washington). If you have a problem, don't email. Call the supplier directly and ask for web sales. Very friendly and accommodating on the phone. My order shipped promptly and was fine. Only called to cancel one item.

Thank you very much Seattleguy!
I will probably call them directly. Do they offer any better deals direct because you cut out the middleman? No commissions etc.?

I think the dealership hires the web company. Anyway, you'd have to ask them about discounts - if any - for direct sales. GL.

Just noticed you're in FL. These guys have pretty similar prices and are much closer to you - GA, I think. Shipping's probably cheaper. They're good folks too.

I've used them too, for my sway bar, TRD air filter, and cargo tote. This was when I first got my xD last December. Like you said, prices and shipping were very reasonable. I didn't have any problems at all - I'd definitely order from them again.

my experience with scion parts people isnt going to well. i finally caved and ordered the cargo cover from them last friday at 1100 EST. i checked the website yesterday and today for a shipping status, but there wasnt one. no info at all. so i remembered this post, found their web site for the washington store, called the 800 number, and spent ten minutes getting transfered from one end of the dealership to the other. fianlly got someone in parts deptartment. i explained for the fourth time that there wasnt any shipping info on the web site. he told me they have been having alot of problems with the guy/s who run the web site about updating info and whatnot. he read me my ups tracking number and told me it should be here tommarow. i checked ups, it wont be here till at least the 21st. im not impressed. ive got packages from calli in 3 days start to finish. i wont be ordering from them again. having a good price on something is one thing, but it cant excuse a crappy shipping situation.

I ordered a cargo cover, the bumper applique thing, an overhead console and floor mats from scionpartspeople. The website never updated the shipping info and after several days I started to get a little nervous. I found the dealership's phone number on the website and gave them a call and found out a couple of my items were on backorder. The dealership people were really nice but the website is a mess. I ended up getting my order in about a week and it was cheaper that TRD Sparks or anywhere else I could find online.

But, I ordered this stuff with my new Visa card I had just received from my credit union. I made a total of 3 purchases with this credit card. One was at my local Jewel Grocery store, one was thru Paypal for the armrest and the other was at scionpartspeople.com. Approx a week after these 3 purchases there were over $700 in fraudulant charges on my card. I have never had this happen with my previous credit cards and I use them at Jewel and Paypal all the time.

While I am not certain my account info was leaked by scionpartspeople, I would advise anyone using them to keep an eye on your account for a couple of weeks after.

I ordered from Scion Parts People back in February. I got the Cargo Cover and Cargo Net. Everything went smoothly for me.
