Shot of the xD w/out front bumper
Was doing some minor touching up stuff with the Five Axis kit and had to take the bumper off. Decided to take a picture:

Found couple of things underneath the bumper that didn't have an obvious purpose. One looks like a temperature probe, another might be an airbag sensor, but does not look like any one I've seen before.
If I get a minute, I'll resize and post pics of these weird things.

Are there any spare pigtails in there that look to be leads for fogs?

I'm thinking LED fogs myself hooked up to the parking lights...
Yeah, you would think with the temp probe they would actually let us have the outside temperature gauge like the ist...If you turn your xD on and somewhat raise your head above the steering wheel and look down at the multi-function display, you'll see the LCD display in the background that shows degrees in celcius...Interesting.
The probe is actually for the climate control. If you didn't know, the xD has a secondary electric heater on top of the heater core for extra heat on cold mornings...I just experienced it working this past weekend as it got down to about 24 degrees here in Colorado...I noticed if the heater control was at max hot while sitting at idle, the RPM's would raise to 1000RPM to compensate for the additional electrical load of the electric heater...Once I took it off of Max Hot, the rpm's dropped. You can hear the micro switch click on & off on the heater dial when the car is off. Interesting.

Wow, that's gutsy to take off a bumper on a brand new car. Props 2 ya. Do you have a display that tells u outside temperature? If so then u found ur answer as to what that temperature probe is. If not than its most likely what was mentioned above about it...
See them 2 itty bitty OEM horns......the ones that theyve put in all the scions.....while you got the bumper off....switch them out with some Hella Super Tones. Ive learned, being so small, they dont see you....but when you lay on the Hellas...they'll jump and move just like you were a truck.
(My wife wants a xD.....Ive still got mixed feelings about it...but at least it isnt an xA)
