I like my scion but I want to get back to volvo. sounds like I want to get a gramma's car lol. But I still gots 10k left on the xd. My question is. What do you think is the value if I returned it? or is it possible to transfer my papers to another person to take over payments? btw its an 09.

Trade in Value
Private Sale Value
Private sale is hard with a car you dont have the title on. You'd want to get a copy of the title with the lien to have on hand for sale, then theyd have to pay you, or youd have to up front the money to pay off the car so you could apply for the title, then once the title is in you could complete the sale of the vehicle. I remember when I got my first car we were able to transfer loan and "take over" payments, but from what I understand, most banks wont do that anymore.
Trade in is your best bet if youre not upside down on your loan, which it appears you are not. Just remember that if it turns out you ARE upside down, most places will not finance you into an older used vehicle because its hard to get banks to loan over the value of an older used vehicle.

so basically what I learned was that toyota wont take your car unless you get another car from them. But carmax can purchase it. So I went to them and I got less then what I still owe. They lower value on aftermarket parts. Unfortunately I dont have the stock parts. so ima put some thought into this..

if u were able to pay off 5g in one year on a 15g car u might as well pay it off and keep it as a beater, you'll only win the long run as ud have a reliable side car and an awesome credit score to finance another vehicle

5g + 3g down payment =/ .. But yea Ima stick with the xd and pay it off fast. and by then hopefully theres a turbo kit. I worked too much for it so I might as well keep it lol. thanks for the help guys
