True... but the idea is to put dirty stuff on the rack, anyway -- wet camping gear, chainsaws, etc. However, they make nifty waterproof bags specifically for these type of racks. I'll be getting one before the summer, I'm sure.

MCBREW, IF YOU DERAIL MY LEGITIMATE THREAD INTO YET ANOTHER VISITATION OF "HOW TO VOID YOUR POWERTRAIN WARRANTY," I'M GOING TO HOLLOW OUT YOUR CAR AND USE THAT AS A TRAILER!

Actually, I'm seriously considering the setup you've got...or at least I was, until the "just put your dirty stuff like chainsaws in there!" Do you seriously think there's anybody on the planet who owns a tiny Scion AND a chainsaw?

I may still totally rock the add-on-hitch cargo box thing. I like the idea of it not adding wind resistance.

Honestly, everybody, thanks for your input, but I think I just haul too much crap way too often to make the switch. I'm still going to hang around your boards, though -- you xD people are the only ones worth talking to besides xB1 owners.

No, wait, I do like the xA owners. Both of them, in fact!

I thought about it for a second. Then I punched myself in the face. I'm over it now.

Nah, a tC owner would somehow use the xD as a HUGE cold air intake.

lack of rim choices? .. yea right .. we carry 5x100 bolt pattern which most of toyota carries (celica, matrix, corolla and tc) not only toyota but vw's and subaru aswell and all these play a good roll in the tuning industry so many aftermarket wheels for these cars was a must and succeeded. But i can agree it lacks abit of space... but thats why theres the Xb2 lol
i agree completely with this statement i love the selection of wheels the xd brings but even more-so the xb2 theres a crazy amount of nice fitting wheels for the xb2. hitting my head on the car getting in and out in the back of the xd isnt fun either.
