Soo ... when do we get an owners lounge with all the cool little sub folders? Why we gotta be the only owners that still post in a "discussion" thread? like we're still waiting for our cars to launch. Is someone racist to xD owners?

Either all new xD owners just buy it to actually drive (now that's new), or the 3,000+ that are sold so far is too few.

I think it's like xA (only worse) - people just buy the grocery getter to get groceries.

 

Well I didn't even know there was a new car from Scion before I walked on their lot actually. I haven't seen any commercials on the TV or on my ususal website haunts. When I walked on the lot with my bf we were like "Uh? What car is that?" then I fell in love and the bf is jealous. Haha.

So I think it might be the problem of advertising really. Unless I miss the commercials.

 

Only time I saw a scion commercial was during jimmy kimmel.

 

I saw a commercial for the xD (well the '08s) for the first time last night.

 

Uh the xD's are 08 models only... aren't they..?

 

Yeah. I meant it wasn't just for the xD, it was for all of the '08 models.

 

I actually saw the Little Deviant commercial awhile back, saw the new one (the one that actually SHOWS the xD) oddly enough in the theater while I was waiting for Shoot 'Em Up.

Guessing we'l start getting our sub-forums once more stuff becomes available for us. Parts wise.

maybe it has to do with the number of posts as opposed to cars???? plus since the website has been sold darren and crew aren't responsible anymore.

 

i actually bought the car three weeks before I saw any advertisements. I was only out shopping cause I'm sick of paying for repairs on my camaro. I stopped by Toyota and fell in love with it right away. I had to wait two weeks for a black one to come in, but it was worth it.
I really don't understand why we aren't seeing more advertisements. I keep having people ask me about my car.

 

I saw a commercial for the 08 Scions however the xD barely got 5secs at the end of the commercial

 

scion scales back TV Ads, I'm honestly surprised there are any. there was a big hoopla a while back about pulling TV Ads and going for the more grassroots, less conventional avenues.
