215/35/18 were perfect for xA/xB1, but xD's got slightly bigger tires stock, so 225/40/18 is recommended (that's the size they put on TRD 18s).

Of course it's personal preference, especially when it comes to width, compound, wheel size, but overall diameter influences speedometer reading, cruising RPMs and some other things.

215/35/18 is 5% smaller than stock tire. 225/40/18 is 0.5% smaller.

Illustration:

For a show car it does not make any difference, of course, the tire just looks tiny for the car, but I guess some people like that look.

Ahh dude... I understand the math behind these things.
Much like putting TVs in cars, the endgame is not retaining stock values and settings.

Thats a cool refference guide though. where are these avail?

So I think you've lowered your ride just perfectly. Approximately how many inches have you lowered it?

Well I'm getting a black xD shortly, with some 18's and I'm wondering if the TRD lowering springs will be enough to get my car as low as the one you've shown here.

I'm just wondering if the Yaris suspension you put in added any noticeable lowering in conjunction with the TRD springs. Thats my main concern.
