After owning the car for a bit, how do you guys feel about the hwy noise inside an xB. The reviews Ive seen say "good", but I'd like to hear from some guys who have put some miles on their xD.
Well there is definitely road noise but compared to my 1999 Corolla its much better lol. I don't normally notice the noise since I have my radio pretty loud since it sounds good in the car
I would test drive an xD near a highway/freeway to see how noisy it is for you.

Ive driven the xD alot at my dealership. Its a little noisier than the xb2 and the tc but not by much.
Its not so much the road noise as the engine noise when you have to do hard acceleration.
Over all i find it much quieter than any small car from a couple years ago.
Its certainly not silent but then again a little noise helps you feel more connected to the road and the machine.

ive got around 2500 on my magnetic grey xD, and the road noise is definitely noticeable with the radio off at highway speeds. one other thing ive noticed is that with the front windows up and the rears down it feels like the windows will all blow out. (opposite of my old escape) but thankfully i bought the upgraded pioneer system and having just discovered the ASL (automatic sound levelizer) which adjusts the volume to compensate for road noise i never really have to deal with it.
Oh I loooove ASL!! I knew it had it when I got the xD so I was super excited
Yes I have noticed that if the front windows are slightly ajar and the back windows are up, there is that thudding noise. Same if you reverse which windows are open. It's annoying but I rarely drive with two windows down anyways. Either slightly ajar, closed, or fronts halfway down with back slightly ajar.
