tC tire size is 2.5% smaller than xD steelies - that's "by much" in my book. Changing the tire to 215/50 or 225/45 fixes the issue, though.

 

How does making the tire tread wider help it? Or was that just a typo?

 

Sidewall on a 225/45 tire is taller than sidewall on a 215/45 tire. Know what all these numbers mean in tire size?

 

I thought 225 was tread width and 45 was sidewall size. I guess it makes sense that a wider tire tread would be taller since it comes out farther. I am still a novice but I am learning.

 

Second number is percentage of first. Sidewall on 225/45 is 101.25 mm high.

the review was on an altima, i believe. i assumed nissan's key systems were all the same. it is possible the reviewer was full of it, i just fail to see the logic in writing a review without cause. then again, this is the internet ;)
