Default Are you blue? (pic request)

Greetings from the xB1 side of the fence! Don't worry, I'm just visiting.

My oldabrutha just put $500 down on a rare blue xD without actually seeing one. If you're riding the Nautical Blue train, please to show off your ride! It would nice to walk to the correct vehicle when we go to pick it up.

I went with him on the test-drive, and I loved the car. After test-driving very subcompact, wagon, and hatch currently available in North America, the xD was an easy choice. Also, having driven both: those Fit people are insane - pay $3000 more for less modability and a bonafide 'ricer' badge? Derrrrr, lemme think.

Which wheel covers do you guys think look best on the NB?

DUUUUUUDE!

You and your bro made a good color choice. Not only do I get intrigued looks about the car itself but I've had multiple people come and say they love the color. Glad you're in Chicago though. I love being the only (one of the only) ones around WA with that color.

I've seen a blue one on my way home from work in the Bellevue/Kirkland area a few times in the last couple of weeks. Looks pretty nice. I may have gone with the blue over the red if I hadn't seen that one around.

Nautical Blue was my first color choice, but the dealer couldn't get one soon enough so I went with silver.

Well, I had to wait 4 weeks for mine... the only one on a lot this summer here in a 5 speed was White (the one I test drove).

Have I mentioned that I love this car?

Ha! Ironically, this is how I ended up with my Black Sand Pearl xB. I called around until I found a blue one, but somebody bought it while I was on my way to the dealer, so I bought the only other xB available. That's how I ended up with my black toaster (we call it the Flight Data Recorder - little black box, get it?). At this point, I wouldn't give up my FDR.

Oddly enough, I've seen the car I almost bought - it has a sticker from the same dealership and a license plate the same as mine except for the last two digits. o_____0

In any case, thanks for the pix - the brutha and I can't wait for the car to show up!

What do you guys call them, anyway? The xB is the toaster (except the new one is more of a microwave), the xA was an egg...what's the xD go by?
