Default Not sure what springs alone feel like...

I bought the full TRD Sportivo suspension (springs / bar / shocks and struts). I installed them a few sundays ago and am very pleased with the upgrade.

The car handles like it should now. The stock xD is WAY too high and bounces like a stagecoach.

After adding $2K to this car, it drives and performs as I would have expected it to from the showroom. I am beginning to understand the Scion business model.

I wonder how much it would cost to turn this vehicle into a sports car! If only someone was supplying significant performance parts! I know we'll never see a TRD supercharger for this vehicle now that the economy has tanked. Too bad - I would have paid cash!

Never say never. The economy market is still relatively strong as compared lets say to Ford & GM.

If there's enough interest, you never know what options or aftermarket pieces may show up from TRD.

If not them, some aftermarket company?

Until then though, I'm going to enjoy my little go-kart on acid

Hey Phatblk, could we meet sometime in the neighborhood, possible at the Chic Filet Fri nights (off Rt 7 Sterling) this Spring? I would really like to see your set-up since I was planning the same. Did you do your own installation?

Thanks, Ken

if you're not satisfied with the level of aftermarket support for the 2zr, why not think about an engine swap? There's plenty of good engines you could go with (you can even stick with a 2zz and get much more out of that engine than you would with the 2zr)

I got the whole TRD setup with mine. Shocks, struts, sway bar, lowering springs. It's of course a little rougher but well worth it. Handling is sooo much better and having the car a little lower makes it look a ton better as well.
