Right, the cube is nissan and the kia is soul. I get them mixed up. I can't believe he makes enough money to afford to buy a car just to mod it. Kudos to him. And another "wow" at the xD. Sorry to hear about having to remove the spacers

I should be able to run spacers again when I run different size tires...But that wont be for awhile, these damn tires are hard and barely show any wear

sweet man.. maybe if you used a smaller tire like a 215 35 18 the rubbing issue will go away.

you didn't explain what to do with the 4 bolts that come with the shim. all i see is that you lined up the shim and the back plate. then bolt the hub back on with the 4 bolts you have taken off.

Go back to page one and look at the first pic...It shows the shim and the (4) supplied bolts that come with each shim...And then further down the in the photos during the reinstallation process you will see this quote "put some red loc-tite on the supplied bolts and bolt the hub back on. Leave the bolts loose until all four have been started. Torque to about 40 foot pounds." I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to ask...

in order to bolt the hub back on, aren't you using the (4) 14mm bolts that you took off in the beginning? i don't get where the supplied bolts come in. then a total of 8 bolts are used for each side?

you dont use the original bolts. you put them in a drawer in your toolbox, just in case one day you want to take the car back to stock. you use the longer bolts that came with the shims to bolt the hubs back to the axle. i dont think it can be explained any simpler than that.

so I tried doing this on my 05 xA. I process should be the same I hope the only difference are the 5 lug vs 4 lug. I attempted doing one side, I couldn't remove pull off the hub. Tried sticking a flathead between it and getting it off but still didn't move so I gave up. Anyone know why?

Just talked to Randode...He says, set parking brake TIGHT ...There is no need to pull the drum or even the wheel off...Simply remove the (4) bolts on the back side of the hub assembly...Don't forget to disconnect the ABS wire...Once the bolts are out and the ABS wire is disconnected, simply pull on the tire far enough so it allows you to slip the new spacer shim in place....

Any question, don't hesitate to text RANDODE @ 602-904-0542...

Nice effort Yelosub,

But in a nutshell can you sum up why you want to stagger your rears by 5 or 10mm per side?
Is it for a look to match the wheels or adjust handling characteristics?
(Because I don't understand what 'tuck' means).
Thanks.
