Default Winter Tires TPMS Reset..

So I have a set of Bridgestone Blizzak tires that I put on my car and they have the Toyota Pressure Monitors in each and for some reason
my low tire pressure light is on and flashes for like 5min. It doesn't let me reset it when I hold the button and they hold air fine.

So idk what's going on with sensors. Any insight would help. Thanks.

I just learned to deal with the tpms light cause I didn't want to switch sensors between winter/summer wheels. Probably going to have the light unsoldered honestly so it leaves me alone...

Is there a set psi for the light to flash? Maybe the psi in the tire is different than the psi the sensor wants to see? Damaged sensor during install?

i know the sensors shouldnt be damaged but im not sure if there is a set psi for the light to come on or if its something the sensor wants to see. as far as i know these sensors were working fine i got the wheels and tires second hand and i know they were takin care of.

So, after finally remembering to ask I found out today from they guy I bought my tires from/works at my Toyota dealer that the TPMS sensors on the xD are keyed to the computer and re-keying can only be done by the dealer so to fix
it so the light doesn't come on you would have to get a second TMPS ECU and switch it out when you wanna switch wheels. I'm fine with the light being on while I have my Winter tires on so I'm not worried about it just glad I got an answer.

It's a different set. I have the sensors that are in my OEM tires and I have a second set that are in the Winter tires I have.

So if you get new TPMS you'll have to get them programmed to your car otherwise the low tire pressure light will be on.

Yep, from what I understand that's pretty much it. I remember when I was trying to first get tC rims for my xD, I called around to see how much the switch of TPMS sensors & tire balancing was and Firestone and Discount Tire both wanted to to charge me 10 bucks for each tire for rotation and 10-15 bucks for the TPMS sensor transfers.

I opted to take my tires + rims to my friend and he balanced and switched the sensors for me for free. Took longer to take the tires off then to transfer everything and balance everything. Funny how the sensors just unscrew and are easily switched.. Oh well.
