I searched high and low for best paint care products, found a thread, but not what I wanted.
I started with a 2009 xB, traded in for a 2012, then got the 2014 because by Feb 2015, they still hadn't announced if they were going to produce a 2015.
Sometime after the 2009, I stumbled upon scionlife and loved it, as I loved my xB. And, someone recommended a German brand polish and finish. I have always used griots garage for washing, paint clay, speed shine, but this German stuff was the bomb! (As the young people used to say.) They were a liquid, came in metal cans, like the shape and size of lighter fluid. After clay, did the polish with a round microfiber sponge, rubbed in, wiped off with microfiber cloth. Then the finish (?). Not sure what it was called. Same, rub on, wipe off. My baby ended up a pure mirror finish, all over! So beautiful, a sight to behold. It would take me most of a day to do the whole car, by hand. You could also use this stuff on all the black trim, it would make it nice and dark and rich. Could use on windows, headlights, the stuff was magic.
Well, since I'm old, have fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue, arthritis, my poor 2014 has more door dings and scratches than any other car I've had. And I haven't done a serious wash and polish in years.
Last time I got out the German stuff, it smelled rancid, so I threw it away. Of course I can't remember what it was and can't find any receipts or where I bought it. Does anyone know what it was? German, in lighter fluid type cans?
