Default What are the Largest Diameter Wheels that will fit on an xB?

After many years I would think many have thoroughly tested out the MAX tire sizes that will fit (minor rubbing ok) on the xB at different rim sizes.

I also saw that matchbox had posted that his tire/wheel combo was 15% larger than stock! So, is he correct? Can the xB really accept a 27.5'' diameter tire?
Another person posted that one owner ran 215/55-17's. Can anyone confirm this?

My rim is 17X7 and I want to put literally the largest diameter I can on it. I'm Looking at 205/55-17 (9% over stock) or 215/55-17 (10.8% over stock)
or 215/60-17 (14.4% over stock). Assume Stock springs and shocks, and the rims have a 42 offset.

Someone who knows whether any of those tires will physically fit, please post.

Also, please don't post if you have not tried it and just want to flame this idea and say stuff like it will throw off the ODO, Gear Ratios and Speedo or kill acceleration, etc.... I already know this.

i have 225/35/19 no rubbing, others are running 225/35/20 no issue... to be honest w/o a drop the 19's look sorta small.,

definitely, a drop is a must to make em look bigger. i saw 18s for the first time on a box (stock, no drop) today and they looked so tiny!!

Some are running 20's with mixed results. 19 is really the safe max to run. 18's look perfect and 17's look great with a drop and actually ride the best next to 15s and 16s.
