Default Will these 18's fit on my stock xB without rubbing??

OK, so I want to put on this set of 18'' with a width of 7.5 and an offset of 42 on my xB. I'm looking at 225/40/18.
Do you think I'll have a rubbing issue with these? I don't wanna spend the money and THEN find out i have to start chopping and bending.

Me thinks you going to be ok but that offset is a bit much.

Check Craigs list. I found my 18's for $450 with tires.

those wheels are nice. imo you should go with a 215/40/18 tire. i had the same size wheels with the same offset and 215/40/18 tires and didnt have any rubbing problems. the 225/40/18 tires might be just a little too wide.

They will work. May be sunken in in the rear pretty bad tho. Try to get like a +30 offset for the rear if you can. That will flush them up a little. To get them real flush, a +20 would be sweet.

X2 go with the 215/40 and enjoy. This will be my next size when the Pirellis are wasted.
Also, if you like rotating your tires stick with the same size rim all around. To bring out the rears even with the fronts pick up a rear behind the hub spacer kit from OTG.

what size/brand of tires did you end up getting?
Also, what color toaster do you have?

I got the 215/35's in a Nexen N5000 tire. Their going on my Dark Grey Box that I got last weekend. So far I blacked the windows out,
ordered these rims and tires and am getting the tail lights smoked this coming weekend. I wanna make it out to Knotts on the 25th haha.

215.35's should be ok. a 225.40.18 would have been better. A big drop would be a good thing to add. Congrads on the new car.

Agreed, almost. 215/40s would have been ideal.
