so i have 1 LED go out on me and was wondering if there is a way to fix it or do i have to get a new light for the side that is messed up?

 

if you got them from the dealership then they should fix it for free, otherwise its a pain

lopeztc is havin the same problem

 

the light is no totally out. just that one LED is dim. guess i'll just live with it being that i cant see it anyway.

 

reoccurring issue with the TYC's, dealership should warranty them.

 

^^^ but i got it through a private seller. i doubt that scion will do anything for me in this case.

 

Try pm'n garage or enginefighter (can't remember his exact screen name) about the leds they should be able to help you. Also I see people selling single tyc taillights on ebay time to time.

i bought a set of TYCs off ebay for $85, had one LED on the passenger tail light out, i took it to the dealership said that they bought the tails for me as a birthday present and after all this searching they did they were trying to screw me over and i just kept pushing and pushing on it and they finally said they would replace it under warranty, but my car is only some months old, i bought it back in april of this yr
