I just finished installed my Ultimate package short shifter from Dr. I and i must say i absolutely LOVE the shifts. its so precise feeling and so short. i'll post pics when i get my new shift boot in.

i've installed the cage risers but haven't gotten to the cable bushings yet....still researching in case i mess it up

yeah, saw that. im halfway there.....haha i can't get the rubber bushings out! those things are a biscuit to push through! i can get to em no problem though

Well wrong section but yea he makes awesome stuff. I got his custom weighted Hula **** with colar and i love it. Got a great deal too.

yeah you really just gotta use some elbow grease and force the rubber bushings out. If they're really stuck you could try warming them up with a hairdryer to make em softer and more plyable....

dumb question: Why get the cage raised bushings? Seems like it would take away from the height of a short shifter and defeat the purpose and even alter the pivot point idea of a short shifter. Just curious before i buy a set.

The cage bushings help regain some of the leverage lost when moving the pivot/shortening the shifter. All of my shifters have drops that take the height of the bushings into account.
