Default Who makes a shorter shock's and struts!

I currently have the goldlines and I pretty sure my struts need to be shortened because i'll hit a pot hole and it jusy sounds and feels like crap sometime. I know about the H&R cup kit but i like my goldlines. KYB, tokicho, ? Honestly i don't want to pay alot either for the set. Any help would be great. Thanks Black xb

check out hopupracing.com. they have tokico adjustable struts, but they are $600 plus free shipping...i already blew one of my shocks becuase of my df210's...i need to replace my stocks like yesterday, but $600 is soo much money...for that just buy coilovers...which i'm debating.

yeah. for the price of good shocks and good lowering springs you'll be up to about 700-900 so i'd just save a bit more or hell u can get tanabe coilovers for 780 and tein basics for like 850. tein ss's for liek 1100 , cusco vacanza's with camber plates for like 1300. not worth it in my opinion. why buy just shocks/sturts and springs when you can get ride height adjustability and sometimes dampener control with normally a better riding , lower ride height setup.

i definitely know kyb does for a fact! i dont know if they are made for scions yet but.... i had a cavalier with kybs and i got new tires and they rubbed all over the place could not figure it out i actually rubbed thru the strut plates. so i put my old tires back on and nothing the car actually had smaller tires someone threw on to make the kybs fit so i went out and got gabriels and it never happened again so yes kyb i know for a fact make them like i think they said 1/2 to 1/4 shorter than stock

um i'm guessing they were sleeve type coilovers? Probably with like 450 or 250lb springs too. when a crx would never need any spring that stiff. yet most sleeve style coilovers come with WAY TOO stiff of spring rates making the car "ride like crap" cuz they do ride like crap. actual regular style coilovers are far superior to lowering springs with stock or upgraded shocks.

that's not a definate. alot of shocks use different spring perches for the same shock and the previous owner may have gotten the wrong one. no shortened shock will move the lower perch so far down as to rub on CORRECT sized tires. by shortened it's normally referring to both shock body and shock stroke length. not exactly what you are describing.

The TRD's are made to go with lowering springs on the xB and they're under $300.

What coil overs are recommended for an xB that wanted sport
suspension, and lower then 2" drop?

When my struts finally blow, I'm probably going to go with
coil overs. I'd like to get an idea of how much I have so save for!
