Default Mudguards for xB

Hi folks,

How come there is no mudguards that are made by the factory for xB? The only ones I could find are imported from Japan and they are very expensive. Do you know any after market kinds?

Thanks!

is that for 2wd or Awd? im guessing that those would only be good for the Awd (higher). the 2wds are lower and i dont believe could fit under there. mine lowered and i know for a fact i couldnt get a mudguard in there. you could try to get some universal though and do it custom.

id really like a set since i drive gravel roads daily and get tons of nicks on the side right there. maybe you could get some universal ones and make DIY for the tech section

I have seen the www.scionpartspeople.com offered the aftermarket mudguards for xB, but I can't find the link anymore.

That's because you're in California. If you drove in an area that got snow, slush, and salt on the roads, you'd notice a need.

Just go to an auto parts store and get a set of those universal black ones. That way, you can position them the way you want, and you're not out a lot of money. I didn't like the looks of those white ones on that weblink. Done right, they'll look like a factory option...
