Default Lowering options.

My xB is on the way and I am looking at lowering options. Springs, coil-overs, and air ride.

I want to go LOW with this thing, are my only options coilovers and air ride?

Does anyone make springs that drop the xB 3" or more?

Any other options I'm not thinking of?

Thanks in advance for the input.

From researching articles here on SL, I think it's safe to say that the Tanabe DF210's have the lowest drop if you want springs only. I think their drop is reported at 2.5". Coilovers will give you lower drop, but they are more expensive. If money is no object, I'd say air is probably going to give you the lowest drop.

There are a lot of options when lowering, you just need to figure out what is most important (amount of drop, cost, comfort, etc) and check to see which options fits your requirements.

If it helps, I wanted a 2-2.5" drop and try to maintain a semi-comfortable ride. I ordered the Tanabe DF210's, which should be installed this weekend.

Thanks for the info. Do you have a link to where I can checkout/buy those Tanabe springs?

Here's a link to a couple:
https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...t=tanabe+df210

www.ptuning.com <---they offer a 5% discount to SL members as well.

Both of these vendors appear to be reputable based on posts from people who have bought from them.

I recently purchased my springs from ptuning.com and they should be delivered very soon.
