Default Dealers - How much for a stockreplacement rear bumper skirt?

just the very bottom section, and if possible jsut the passenger side...

i backed up parallel parking and left a nifty scratch on mine, with my xB lowered it seems that part of the bumper hangs down just below the curb line...

it's not too bad, you can only notice it if you look for it, but one day i'd like to replace it - just currious how much it'll cost - i can install myself, looks like they go on really easy.

thanks

Brian

On the off chance that your car is white, check out Home Depot for some white electrical tape. Made by Plymouth, number 3706. It is a nearly perfect color match for the white plastic on my xB. Very handy for covering the curb rash on the skirts!

George <--I could really do without those danged skirts!

mine's thundercloud so tape won't be the best solution - i'm just goting to go over to the dealer and pick up a bottle of touch up paint for the time being and see if that covers it ok...

guess it'll all be motivation to get that kenstyle kit eventaually ;)

Default Costs and would you Replace Bumper or get re-painted?

so today some a$$hat decides to do a terrible job af parallellparking today and in the process removes a 5 inch long stip of paint off my rear bumper - i could kill someone...

it's right in the middle, and it's super noticable - and i have to get it fixed, it'll drive me totally insane until i do...

that said should i get the bumper repainted, or just replace the whole damn thing?

how much do you think both would cost, which would be the best option for exactly matching my current paint?

dealer or a paint shop??

let me know!!

thanks

Brian
