just ordered some staggered rims, rear are 18x8.5, now i'm not too sure what size tire to go with. i am told you can stretch a 215 35 to fit and i'm affraid a 225 40 would be to much tire and rub. i'm lowered on s techs for now any suggestions will be well appreciated, i'm leaning toward the 215 35's.

 

215/35/18 is what you want on an 8.5

 

215/35/18 starts to look stretched on anything but a 7" rim. I am not sure what your custom offset is, but if you can make it work I would go with at least a 225/35/18.

 

i guess i should stagger the tires also, a 215 35 18 in the front and a 225 35 18 in the rear than, is either of you guys running a staggered set up? i want to look wider but also at the same time want to avoid rubbing.

i just ordered teh tires. falken 215 35 18 all around, now i have to sell my other 18's and get ready to step up the game to my staggered rims coming this week. i am getting the sportmax also but i'm doing 8.5 in teh rear instead, hoping to still put people in the back time to time with no issues
