Just wondering if anyone here has 17s with 50/55 series tires. Does it rub? Reason why I'm asking is cuz I drive at least 40 miles a day and really dont want a rigid ride with 40 series tires. I may have to go 16 w/ 50 series if thats the case but the gap might be too much for me. Thanks for the feedback

 

I have the 215/40 series on 17's and dropped 2"...My ride is better than stock...Go with the 40 series or you could even go with the 215/45 series on a 17" rim...Hope this helps......
