i just got my new gunmetal rims installed yesterday and today its already chipped!
i guess that's what i get for being lazy and going to an automatic car wash.

is there anyway to touch it up or make it less visible?

 

Auto wash scraped the ____ out of my c5's and the first time I went with my scion, scratched the ____ out of the hubs. Is the rim in gunmetal or polished?

 

ouch!!! it hurts!!!...
dont even think about auto carwash if u have lowered / aftermarket rims...

if its not really major damage, dont fix it...cuz i kno wheels repair shop charge almost the same price if u have more damages

its not one those ones with polished lip.

i was thinking of touching it up with dark grey, glossy spray paint.

OUCH!! Sorry to hear about your recent scratches. Hope everything turns out ok, but next time wash it your self man! If need be go to a touchless carwash and they should have no problem washing your ride!! :D Thats were I go when I am lazy
