Default I hate to get off on a rant here

Ok so im on a romantic getawaay with my girl and doing 80 on the 101 when and very loud sond starts coming from the rear of my box i pull over and low and behold a flat.
Which wouldent be so bad if the flat was caused by a nail or some debris but a hole which looked like someone had put a knife in my side wall.
I throw on the spare being sure to explain to my girl how to do this so she wont have a problem if this happens to her.I pull up to a shop in the middle of nowhere and had to buy a $100 cooper tire (never heard of this brand).
At closer insection of the flat tire i notice inside of the tire a rather large bubble on the inside of the tire. Is this tire defective should i take it back to the dealer or should just eat it?
Last but not least now there is this sound when i put it in first and put my foot on the gas it makes this grinding sound and does the same after i shift into second and put my foot on the gas but third nothing sound fine.
What could this grinding sound be?

Any feed back will be greatly appriciated

It certainly would not hurt to have the tire inspected by a shop that represents the tire brand just to make sure there was not a manufacturing defect in the sidewall. As far a the noise goes???

The noise turned out to be my Borla exhaust went bad. The welds went bad inside of the exhaust and now i have this rattling which sounds like grinding at low rpm.
I wonder if borla covers such a problem.

Did a "authorized dealer" install the exhaust?

If so, shouldn't be a problem to get replaced. If not, should still be able to get it replaced, just take a few more phone calls.

It's a qaulity issue - as opposed to an installation issue.
