Default time to change my brakes..couple questions??

1st off what are some good pads?

2nd where are some good places to buy them from?

I have used Axxis ultimate pads before on an old integra and they seemed to work out ok, but Ive heard great things about ebc green stuff. Id just like some more opinions and good places to buy from.

Thanks
Robert

Greenstuff pads are really nice and they are low dust too. Also upgrade to some slotted rotors while you are at it. You will likey.
As far as places to buy just goggle search places that sell them and price shop remembering to keep shipping costs in mind too.

i'm running the axxis metal master pads right now with a pair of chamfer drilled and slotted rotors. the stopping power has drastically increased, my only complaint is the dust. i may go with ebc just to try them out and see if there really is less dust.

want to know more about the rotors? my friend sells them at www.rotorsonline.com i can't remember how much they are and they aren't listed on his site...but trust me he can get them for you.

only bad thing about ceramics is you dont get the full braking power out of them till they heat up a bit or so I have heard. They are great if you dont want dust tho! and as for the green stuff never had them. I did have the axxis metal master pads on my gto and it stopped like no other I was also using cross drilled and slotted rotors. My guess would be to go with cross drilled and slotted rotors and some green stuff pads or maybe some cermics.

I haven't had any noticeable drop off on cold pads, but I have noticed improved stops as they get hotter. However, remember this, we haven't had any really cold mornings around here....just chilly ones. But I have noticed that my car stops so quick that the tail lights are touching the back doors.

I'm going slotted and dimpled rotors soon.

They didn't have that far to go.
I'm going slotted and dimpled also when it's time to do the front brakes. Prolly green stuff pads also.

Thats what I ment they stop better the hotter the pad gets. I have put ceramics on a few of my cars and I like them they stop better then the stock pads and no dust or very little dust.

What is a good brand of ceramic pad for the xB? How much do they run for a set?
