Did you pickup the reverse lights from superbrightleds.com as well?

Jonathan, did you ever consider using the 12 LED white lights for your reverse lights from superbrightleds.com? just wondering if they would be even brighter? Cause as i understand the 9 LED lights are narrow view and more focused and bright in one direction and the 12 are wide view which are focused all around.

Has anyone tried the 12 LED lights, how do they look?

I am so down to do this now I just gotta find a car minded man to do it for me (I'm not a damsel in distress, I swear!) so I dont f**k anything up cuz its not my field.

Heres the thing...does anyone know where to find PINK LEDs for this? I'm seeing every other colour....what about a colour for the ladies here?!?

I don't know if you'll find pink. I just got a complete set of UV (purple) for both domes, the cubby, and the headlight/parking lights from Superbrights, which may be the closest you'll get to pink. However, I'm kind of dissapointed - I had blue for a year now and decided to change it up, but the UVs are nowhere near as bright as the blue. The interior barely lights up at all. You may want to stick with one of the more popular colors.
BTW - LOVE your avatar.

Yeah the general consensus is that I will have to install whites and have a pink gel filter on the inside of the dome cover. This idea came from our Parts manager at the toyota dealer I work at...and according to him this is the best way. Have any of you heard otherwise?

PS: KooLAid: I already asked Garage1217 about pinks. He says he doesnt have them but he will check for me. I'll keep you updated. Till then, any men on here from Cali near LA that can do this swap for me? I'm scared since I'm car illiterate! The guys here at work are all gold diggers and wanna charge me a$$ loads of money...lol

They want to charge you money? For a dome light LED swap? Talk about taking advantage of non car saavy people. Just try it yourself. I know you don't want to mess it up, but this is the easiest mod there is.

i can come down there and help you if you want.

i'll be heading to san diego on the 16th for a car show (you should go) and will be staying in socal for a few days.

lemme know... would need to buy you some white leds... i got the gels..

or.. buying cheap pink leds would work and then changing out the led bulbs with some of my led magic.... yadda yadda....
though pink leds aren't known to last a lifetime.
