anyone tried using UV bulbs on the license plate?
I know the license plate glows when head lights hit them.

Using the UV light? would it make the license plate glow?
and if so?

you think i would get pulled over using UV license plate led?

I actually have a friend that has been using red LEDs for a while now for the lisence plates on his Celica. He only has been pulled over for speeding mainly. I'm not sure if he is using them still now. But red looks nice and it blends into the tails almost.

^^ lol.. "Here I come to save the day!!!..."

yes.. the light bar in the stock interior lighting can be switched.. the bar itself is illuminated by 4 5mm leds that's inside the thingy at the end.. you'll need to remove that.. open it up.. and at which then... just solder in new leds..

Soldering is just so easy, I dont know why you are afraid of it. Especially when you are soldering 5mm LED bulb, which is HUGE comparing to other stuff, it's almost impossible to screw up and messed up anything. You can always use the desoldering braid if you screw up.

and shame on you for being asian and not know how to do electronics! (at least math?)
