i just got my windows tinted this weekend and they are SOOOOO illegal! i got hardcore 5% over the OEM tint. you can stand with your face to the window and barely see who is in the car. if you stand 4-5 feet back you cant see ANYTHING. so ill have to take 1 or 2 shots at night from inside and out.

oh i had that problem with the center front housing. i turned it and it fell in. thats why in my directions above i BOLDED the words DO NOT TWIST or TURN. all you have to do to pull the grey control panel out in slide a flat head in the front..make some room for your fingers, grab with both hands and PULL down HARD. its not easy and your will not break it. trust me. then you can access the back on the housing. try moving the little bulb housings around.(i.e switch the left one to the center, the center to the left) make sure you place it in and turn it so that it makes a connection with the metal strip. test it a few times. you shouldnt have blow a fuse. not by just taking it out.

putting the grey cover back on is easy. you need to look up in the inset before you put it back. there are 2 WHITE caps that might be still stuck. need to pull those out and put them in the right positions on the control panel.

IF YOU NEED MORE HELP OR PICS...LET ME KNOW. i will go out there pull it out and take a few shots to help you out.. i know this is frustrating. i wanted to jab a flat head into my dash i was sooo mad.

PM ME if u want pics on this..i might do it anyway just incase this happens again

Just ordered mine, blue for the front and back and white for the map lights. Was real tempted to get the red but I wanted something bright and I didn't want my tC to look like a submarine.

Do the LEDS fade in and out the same way as the incandescant ones do?

Damn, I paid way too much for super white/blue regular bulbs. I would have rather had LED's for a lot less. Great write up. Thanks. Hey do they have one for that light in the hatch? I still havent changed that one. Oh yeah, the license plate bulbs are the same as the front dome lights. You can put some LED's there.
I will put these LED's in when my current bulbs burn out.
Sticky please.

Yep, they flicker a little but it still fades.

The best thing about the white lights is that they have somewhat of a blue tint; nothing too ricey, but very nice.

Red! Thats awesome. I may have to get those. Red/Amber lighting is actually the best to use at night. Most aviation lighting applications use red/amber. Hmmm

the rear hatch light i havent been able to fit the LED from the rear dome in there just right yet. im looking for an alternate LED.

the lights do still fade in and out. the do flicker a little bit when you start the car and just barely noticable when you close the doors. still, looks great

Excellent tutorial. Followed it word for word and it worked great. The SuperbrightLEDs site is very good too. Ordered Friday around 2AM and got the stuff today.

Well i got mine today. Did the Front dome no problem. but waited til it got dark to do the back.(i was anxious) Well i think i might have popped the fuse. Anyone know if this fuse is under the dash and what size it is? I'm assuming 15A or 20A. I'm hoping work gets canceled tomorrow (phones are f'd up) and i can take care of this.

Pics are always good. Plus if the whole housing needs to come off I would like to see how that is done. I may want to do the auto-dimming mirror and that will have to come off.
