hye csocso,
what do you recommend for the domes. I know you said the 921x12, but i don't want cool white.
I'm looking for natural white, so that even when you take a pic of the car, the light is white, you know what i mean?

whats the brightest natural white that would go with the front dome lights?
also looking for natural white license lights

thanks mayne

I got a set of these for the license plate lights.
http://www.optionsauto.com/prodinfo....mber=PIA-19172

I had the "wide pattern" LEDs but they kept failing on me, and when they fail they start flickering like mad so I got pulled over. The cool white LEDs do look fairly blue and the cop bugged me about that too.

So I got those PIAAs and am really pleased with the color, and I know they'll last longer than those LEDs. I also have them in my headlights which will kill an LED in about six weeks. They are a nice neutral white, way less yellow than stock but not blue at all either.

Yeah I don't think you'll find any brighter for the domes since those arrays use superflux LEDs.

For the map lights I have the WLED-W6:

Hey digital, my interior lighting is red but I wouldn't want to lose the ability to have white lights in the dome to, you know, look for things. Anyway to get that super bright dome in red and retain white map lights?

Yeah it would be easy.

The front dome is three bulbs. Middle is the "dome light" controlled by the three-way sliding switch, and the "map lights" on either side, controlled by the buttons. Just get the red LED array dome for the middle, and leave the sides stock or put in different white LEDs. Get the array for the back dome too and you'll be all set.

Hey guys i could find any through the search but im sure this is a very obvious and common question.

Does your dome light led bulb And the rear dome light led stay partially lit when set to "door" even though the car is fully locked and closed? Something to do with the resistors i assume. But the same LED bulb was used on my friends RSX and it does NOT stay on when set to "door"

It's like day time in your car! Nice set up. I have the same as setup as the DIY. Not that bad, but getting kinda bored of it.

Does anyone know how to remove the cover of the trunk light? I would love to put one of those LEDs in there.

Thanks!

I got the 3022-B9 festoon for the back dome light, it was a pretty tight fit but it worked well. I don't think it will fit in the trunk one though, it might but i just got the 3022-W4. The B9 one is really is superbright in blue.
