Do any of you like the matirx?? I was looking at one the other day, and i have to say it looked quite nice..... Just wondering what you scion guys liked. Any other cool alomst "exotic" or out of the ordinary cars that you guys like, post your comments.

I have one. I bought an auto Xr the first week it came out. I used it quite a bit to commute in and for going to paintball tourneys. Its lowered on TEIN S-techs, Hotchkis bars, Borla exhaust, and INJEN RD CAI. I also use synthetics on it also. A TRD S/C is a strong possiblity in the next year. The XRS 6 speed is a beast!

 

i like them, my best friend has a 2k3 auto xrs. VERY versatile and looks good (with the xrs body kit anyway)

 

Yes sir... My old ride. I loved it! Never really used the hp, but now I miss it a little.

I like the original bodystyle more than the new one. (bodykitted up with the foglights in the lower center grill) The new redesign looks more soccer mom-ish.

i'm from Southern California (Anaheim area) and am selling my '03 matrix XRS for $14000 or best offer (fully loaded, 48K, owned for 3 years)

 

Or because of the time that the Matrix came out state side compared to the xA, the xA could be looked at as the limp noodle matrix

 

we traded our XRS in on the xB. I miss the power and to tell the truth...it got way better milage. Great car!!!

the old ones came in automatic, but very few of them. his is pretty rare.

no sunroof, black, automatic xrs. his dealership keeps asking to buy it back from him haha

 

It may look soccer momish, but thats a pretty quick and hot soccer mom haha. I have an 05 and i love the power, not as torquey as the tc but good top end.

 

I just bought my 05 Matrix over the weekend and i love it so far, i know what you mean on the lack of tourqueyness but its an awesome cruiser and with a few mods i know it'll be just right, for the mpg/cargo space/body and reliability of Toyota man its a sweet car, i havent owned it for a week yet but ive done alot of research on other utility wagons but no doubts as of right now
