super high low TQ...

have any of you seen the V6 camry engine in a 2nd gen MR2 wit ha supercharger?

i have.

very powerful...



note: i wanted to be the 1st to post bout the camry hehe

hahah that woud a lot of considerable weight on the TC which wouldnt be needed.

im very happy with the 2az actually.


POWER/WEIGHT RATIO is the key :D

Not really. The 1MZ-FE weighs almost the same as a 3S-GTE.

I'm pretty sure the extra power would make up for the weight.

Yeah, the V6 is fairly powerful, however i like the Toyota Chaser (mark series) better. RWD V6, the Camery is sort of based off the Chaser in a sense, simular body styles. Only the chaser IMO is sexy as hell.

ya i love the chaser too.

the chaser is a STRAIGHT 6, is a 4 door supra lil watered down but 2jz swaps are common

i have a v6 solara. It is not that fast, after all its still a camry (at 3200 lbs)

the engien is great but in the end its heavy.


in a straight line power is key but if ur going on a track or mtn or daily driving and stuff. power/weight and balance is very important.


i woud know. EK9's with h22's go fast in a straight but cant handle on track compared to those with a b16 or b18

You can drop the power from that statement and it's still true. If you want to go around corners, weight is the enemy. Lighter is always faster.
