Default Back issue.

If i do a search and hit the back button/arrow it gives me a page has expired error, is there a way to fix that so we can hit back and not have to retype everything so we can get the same list again??

I know... I hate that! Once you click a link all search results expire. So you can't go "back," you have to search again.

I use "open in new window" to get around it.

I'm using Microsoft I.E. btw

not sure if this would have to do with security settings in your browser, I'm at work so I can really mess with the settings right now, but I have no problem getting the same list doing this in Firefox. But like YNPaul said just open each link in a new tab/window.

Here is why. The search function uses a POST-type form to work. As with any POST-type form when you go back it won't work. When I tried to use a GET-type form the search didn't work correctly. For now you have to just hold the shift key while you click your links to open the URLs in a new window. That is phpbb, not my choice... but I might be able to solve that down the road.
