Default big idea.......lots involved

Had an idea as I was trying to find a user from my region today.

It would be wicked cool if you could add a feature in registration that would ask you to name a 'home region' and then when you open the userlist at the bottom of the screen, it would show all of the users alphbetically and grouped by region.

Just a though but it would make an event planners life a LOT easier.... LOL

How about the Registry? You can choose a state or county to filter the list... isn't that kind of the same thing?

Penninsula, Seattle Metro, East Side of the Mountiain. etc...

Well.... yeah, county would be better than region cause you can be more specific. It might take you 2-3 counties to make up a region, but that takes like two seconds to list.

WOW -- club affiliation in the registry is a GREAT idea. Would solve some issues I've been having with the club groups in the forums. That is going on my todo list!

Problem with the 'registry' listing are those folks who haven't a car registered. Other than that, it's pretty decent. :D

Well... if they don't have their car registered then do they need to be worried about being listed in a club?

...just because the vehicle isn't in the registry, doesn't mean they don't have a Scion or that they aren't members of any number of clubs, it just means their vehicle isn't in the registry. I see long-time users of ScionLife, who definately have Scions but don't have them registered, all the time.

What would be so bad about changing the club affiliation to be part of the registry instead of a forum usergroup, though? I'm not quite following you.

OK, I came up woth a solution to this... the club affiliation will still be made using forum usergroups... but now you can search on clubs in the registry, too. I am SO smart! Well, it took like two hours to make it happen... but check it out.

www.scionlife.com/registry

You can also view Toyota and Lexus owners in there, too.

It just takes the info from the forum usergroup. Contact your club leader and have them add you to their club usergroup.
