Your large JPG or large GIF will be resized to 80 pixels wide
Uploaded avatars 80 pixels or narrower must be less than 10k

You have two options. You can try to resize it yourself, you you can just let the site do it.

1. Go to your profile:
www.scionlife.com/profile/TeeCizzle

2. Click on the gray rectangle avatar placeholder

3. Browse to the fullsize file on your computer, click Upload New Avatar. If the image is larger than 80 pixels wide then your image will automatically be resized to the correct size and linked to your account.

Also, did you follow my instructions and do it from your public profile page? I am pretty sure you only get that particular error message from the private profile edit page that came with the forum software.

Hmmm... I followed my instructions and it worked no problem. Are you sure you followed them?

Are you using Windows? Some Mac users have had problems uploading.

By the way, you can right-click on my current avatar (your pic) and save it to your computer, then upload it as your new avatar.

Let me know so I can change back to my old one.

Did you use the image I created or did you just upload your original through the profile?
