this concerns the latest postings area of the mainpage.

instead of taking the user to the first post of that thread when you click on the it, is there any chance of changing that so that it takes you to the newest post in that thread?

i just find it kinda annoying to have to go to the last page, scroll down, etc etc etc. being on dialup (i know, i know....) makes this process take 45 seconds or so just to see the new post. god help my computer if it's a thread with pictures in it!

 

uhhhh... better.. way... go to recent posts so it shows all the recent posts..
where it says last post:

it shows who the last poster is... next to their name.. is a picture of an arrow and page.


click on that.

 

Yeah, use recent posts... that way people can do it either way. I usually like to start at the first post when reading a random topic because I usually don't know what the topic is about.
