What happened to the Happy Birthday stuff?

It used to be that when it was your birthday a little alert would show up next to your name. What happened to this feature?

It looks like you do not have your birthdate in the profile as your age is not showing. One of our locals here had a birthday yesterday and they had the flashing banner.
