It is possible. I'm not 100% but, I'm pretty positive you will still have "a little" at WOT. My reasoning is that your TRD exhaust is one of the raspiest exhausts on the market. A 4-1 header if also raspier than a 4-2-1, which I have. When you plan to change your S-pipe, which you really really really should, you will have more rasp.

You really really really should consider buying a s-pipe. Because a custom midpipe does almost nothing for you without a spipe. There are other threads explaining this. It's like a bottlekneck effect.

Yeah, try it out. If it doesn't solve the rasp problem, change it up.

Yes definitely.

For example, the Tanabe Touring Medallion is a great OEM style exhaust that will mute rasp almost by itself. Also, the Tanabe Concept G is one of the quiet on the market also. But like I stated before, TRD is one of the raspiest.

 

thanks for the input. its a reasonable upgrade to fix a annoying problem like rasp. ill look in to it after i hear my set up

 

well you may still have some but you will for sure if you get an s-pipe but I'd search cause there some guys who used bigger resonators and got lil to no rasp. GL!
